Commercial Septic Field Installation

The most common types of septic drain fields we install include:

• Conventional systems: This system is suited for smaller operations. The trenches for drainage piping are shallow, and it has the benefit of being less costly. One drawback is that this type of system may not provide enough drainage in high water table areas.
• Chamber systems: Unlike conventional systems, a chamber system doesn’t use gravel. They instead use larger chambers often made from recycled materials. This system is less likely to experience soil buildup and is easier to install and repair. If there is gravel readily available for installation, a conventional system will be a cost-efficient option. If gravel is not available, a certain type of soil is necessary for efficient function.
• Drip distribution systems: These systems utilize drip tubing to release smaller amounts of waste into the soil. They don’t require as deep of an installation into your leach field and allow for more control by the owners. However, this type of system is more costly due to frequent maintenance and additional necessary components, such as a dose tank.
• Mound systems: This type of system is installed below constructed sand mounds and can be a great option for shallow soils or high groundwater areas. While this system is better at protecting the water table, it takes up a lot more space above ground and is much more costly than other systems.
